These must not have any food residue or gunk stuck on interior walls. It must look like a new trash can. Try to pick a regular drain cleaner to remove grime, bio-buildup, and sludge. Remember, bio-buildup may attract fruit flies to drains. Set Traps for Fruit Flies

If you want to trap fruit flies, try to prepare a mason jar with 3 ounces of unfiltered cider vinegar. Cover this bottle with a plastic wrap. The plastic wrap may have one small hole in the middle. The hole must be larger than a needle.

Prepare a saucer or ramekin filled with soapy and sugary water. Set this mixture on a kitchen counter. If you want to trap fruit flies, try to set an empty glass jar with rotten fruit in your kitchen. Insert one paper funnel in the glass jar through its opening. The perimeter of the funnel must be wider than the opening of the jar.

Taper funnel from its large opening toward the bottom. In this way, the flies will enter in the jar, but may not get a way to escape. Moreover, you can buy sticky traps for fruit flies from the market. You can get a trap for your cars to trap fruit and drain flies.
